damnit tab
a small plastic tab that holds electronics together so that they cannot be easily dismantled without breaking the tabs. when the tabs are broken, it usually prompts the person doing the dismantling to say “d-mnit” hence the name “d-mnit tab”
while dismantling the telephone, i broke the d-mnit tabs which led me to say d-mnit.
