shortened name for the band death cab for cutie. formed in bellingham, wa. currently refer to seattle, wa as their home. known for their poppy songs mainly based on love and relationships and the ideas and situations that stem from those topics. unfortunately death cab has been labeled largely as an emo band. while the line can be thin at times, this is not the case at all.
