the practice of deception, bolstering, exaggerating, bait and switching, etc., using modern technology, all done to sell a product is know as deepmarketing. promoting a scam; fake products or pricing. also, deepmarket, deepmarketed, etc.
i was looking for a new amp for my guitar, when i came across a website that had just what i was looking for, at a price that was way lower than i had ever seen. it showed photos from the manufacturer and everything. i am sure it was just deepmarketing, total scam.
