Osteomalacic pelvis


osteomalacic pelvis n.
A pelvic deformity in osteomalacia in which the pressure of the trunk on the sacrum and lateral pressure of the femoral heads produce a three-cornered pelvic aperture while the pubic bone becomes beak-shaped. Also called beaked pelvis.
