Sympathetic ganglia
sympathetic ganglia n.
Any of the ganglia of the autonomic nervous system composed of adrenergic neurons receiving afferent fibers originating from preganglionic visceral motor neurons in the lateral horn of the thoracic and upper lumbar segments of the spinal cord.
