the act of de-friending someone on facebook, often for socio-political reasons.
after getting hired at the firm, mark defriendestrated gary whose incessant posting of “your mom” jokes and links to nws material proved a dangerous liability to the new job. this defriendestration was unbeknownst to gary, but was reciprocally evident to all their mutual friends.
