derivatation
is the term used to describe a word that has been miss-pr-nounced or two or more words that have been confused together by someone. the word derivatation is actually such a word. i used it during a conversation when one of my friends slightly screwed up a word but not too much that it didn’t make some sense so instead of saying is that a deviation of a the word the meant i used the word derivatation.
person 1: i am dying of hungarvation cause i haven’t eatin’ since breakfast yesterday.
person 2: dude that sounds like a derivatation of a word did you come up with that one yourself????
