Developer lunch
an extended lunch break as favored by software developers. often runs to 3hrs and is typically followed by up to 2hrs of non-work related conversation, e.g. regarding favorite cheeses, upon finally returning to the office. heartily ignored by management who would clamp down on any other department taking such a lax att-tude to work.
jojo has gone for a developer lunch at the kfc 5miles away so don’t expect to get that critical bug fixed this afternoon.
