definition: asking another person if he/she has had time to eat yet? it was once a question now just a word. what was once, did you eat yet? now becomes, yo-digeatyet?
background: i dont know really-i am from ne ohio and moved to the west coast with some friends-all the locals could never understand what we were asking eachother at work around lunchtime. it slowly became a coined expression around work.
