the dirty ferdie is when a losing field hockey team has their tallest defender sprint to the 50 yard line and take a m-ssive sh-t right there in the middle of the field. this will distract the opposing team enough that the losing team should have the opportunity to score to hopefully tie the game. this is considered a “fool proof plan” in the game of field hockey.
