disaster fatigue
the loss of interest in donating money for relief, volunteering time to help survivors or general interest in media coverage for multiple natural or man-made disasters. you feel guilty for losing interest and legitimate concern for the people affected, but numerous events back to back is exhausting. natural disaster, man-made disaster, hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, shooting, terrorism, terrorist act, bombing, explosion, m-ss casualty
we have had 3 tornados and 2 major floods this year. i have got major disaster fatigue.
