doin’ a silky is when a housemate disapers in the middle of the night or very early in the morning. slithering out of the house with silky smooth precision and accute swiftness.
it can also be used in the same term as ‘doin’ a sly one’ ‘moonlighting’ ‘fritzing’ or ‘b-gg-rin’ off’
