a phrase describing an action that is considered to be obscenely stupid, with a result that punishes said stupidity. e.g. running away from unwelcome strangers in your living room, tripping over your rug and hurtling headfirst into furniture- waking up in hospital with a severe neck injury and looking like a particularly ugly charlers xavier.
