“doing a freeman” – this involves standing up from your desk, without warning, walking out the door; never to return.
usually happens in an office environment where stress levels are high.
worker 1 – “have you seen paul?”
worker 2 – “no, he was quite stressed yesterday. i wonder if he’s done a freeman?”
worker 3 – “yeah, he just got up and walked out this morning. no-ones seen or heard from him since.”
