door-date
noun; when you hold the door for someone you are attracted to, who’s going to the same place as you, they become your door-date. often done as someone you are attracted to is entering a party so one does not appear to have come alone.
bret held the door for his co-worker, sophie.
“yo, bret, you come here with sophie?”
“yeah, i did the old door-date.”
the person you show up to the door of a party/function/get together with.
yeah ashley was my door date, but im gonna see what -ss i can get tonight.
