a dotter is a player of first person shooter games who cheats by drawing or gluing a dot or cross on his computer screen to materialize the aim line, thus giving him an unfair advantage with -ssault and handheld weapons.
dotting can also be used efficiently to exercise the eye to focus on the aim. it can become a handicap with sniper weapons because it partially hides small or distant targets.
dotters get little respect from other players and instantly become cl-ssified as noobs.
