down picking
a type of picking used by all guitarists at some point of their life. it’s strumming the strings of the guitar in usually fast downwards strokes. very commonly used in metal music, most commonly -ssociated with metallica rhythm guitarist/vocalist james hetfield, or the “down picking god” (really hot dude actually). some songs that prove to show his love for fast down picking are seek & destroy, creeping death, and justice for all, blackened, master of puppets, and fight fire with fire. people tend to also say that jerking off frequently helps build speed, so keep at it dudes 😉
duuuude. i spent all day yesterday playing master of puppets, but the down picking is too d-mn fast and now my arm hurts.
