Drabblism
a term used when describing a misheard song lyric. it refers to a word made up out of thin air when you don’t know what is actually being sung.
“there’s a bathroom on the right” (bad moon rising)
“excuse me while i kiss this guy” (purple haze)
“i’ll never be, your big stuffed birdie” (beast of burden)
“i wrote a letter full of drabble (drabblism) and trite confessions” (plundered my soul)
