acronym for everything as a service. in the rise of iaas (infrastructure as a service), paas (platform as a service), saas (software as as service), bpaas (business process as a service); the next logical step is eaas (everything as a service). eaas allows anyone or any company to do everything and only pay for what they consume. zero capex, all opex. pure cloud.
start up xyz utilized eaas (everything as a service) to enable them to achieve all of their business goals with zero capital expenditures.
