ease the flow
1. a phrase directed at someone that tends to be overly emotional and finds the need to cry, complain, whine, nag, etc.
2. a phrase directed to someone in reference to always (or frequently) acting as if they are “on the rag”.
3. a phrase used as an equivalent to “lighten up” or “take it easy”.
cause: “… i am having such a horrible day! everything that could possibly go wrong seems to be going wrong! nothing will ever get any better!”
reaction: “whoa, whoa, whoa sally!!! hike up that skirt and ease the flow!”
