as was mentioned previously, “egab” comes from an entry in the windows xp registry where one would find the phrase, “what is an egab.” it is actually a musical reference. it refers to the chords e g a and b in a progression. it is pr-nounced by letter and not phonetically.
the chorus goes egab.
no one really knows what an egab is. it was coined in the question “what is an egab” posed by the brains at microsoft in the registry of windows xp. other comments made in the regestry nearby are “geeks kick ascii” and “nerds are cool”
