emosogynist
a word coined by blog jezebel in 2007 describing a man who comes across as feminist due to his sensitive, emo demeanor but who is in fact emotionally immature and adheres to unrealistic fantasies of women. because he doesn’t partic-p-te equally in relationships with real women he is woman-hating, therefore emosogynist.
zach braff is the cl-ssic example of a celebrity emosogynist.
in usage:
“he said he was breaking up with me because he couldn’t give me the love i deserved.”
“g-d, what an emosogynist.”
