empty jump low
a strategy used in street fighter and other fighting games where you jump at your opponent and instead of throwing out an attack, you land and use a low hitting attack. the reason it works is because a jump in attack can not be blocked low, forcing your opponent to stand block, opening the opportunity for a low hit if they do not read, or react to you fast enough.
