when most residents of a condominium gang together to have their building demolish, so that they can reap obscenely from the overpriced sale of the land.
instead of adding value to the community, by instilling a sense of togetherness and belonging, the en-bloc mentality promotes greed and selfishness among residents—it’s a get-rich-by-destruction mindset that sends the wrong message to young singaporeans.
