a)it means the same thing as something greater. used as another form of equivalent. i.e. – equivalent to superlative

b)used commonly to prove someone else wrong.
“that’s the equilative of what i just said.”

“what is the metric equilative to the 2.75×10?”

“my brother just proved me wrong. his statement was not equilative to mine.”
