the person(s) largely responsible for the proliferation of twitter. many of these subjects’ lives revolve largely around twitter, facebook, etc.
you can easily spot these people by the incessant bragging about how many people they follow on twitter.
the usual response to them should be scorn, and occasionally pity.
you: did you see steve at work today? he was bragging that he follows 78 people on twitter.
me: what an etwit…
you: oh, look at me, i’m tweeting and following the lives of others because i don’t my own life.
both: ha ha, looser!
