posting a status (or photo, or link, or anything, really) on facebook with the sole purpose of baiting someone specific into commenting on it. frequently used to initiate facebook flirtation. widely used as a tactic for such, but rarely acknowledged.
“i know nick loves bon jovi, so i’m facebook baiting him by putting some “livin on a prayer” lyrics as my status.
