sometimes forcefully done to others for humour purposes.
as i tried to explain a complex math problem to a four year old, i felt a need to facepalm.
the act of slapping your forehead with the palm of your head in exasperation.
guy 1: holy sh-t, i just realized that twinkle twinkle little star and the alphabet song have the same tune!

when someone is so stupid that it makes you speechless, and the only thing you can do is shake your head or facepalm.
