Fanadequate
a “fan” who is not fully a fanatic. one who enjoys and partakes of a cultural activity like sports, music, movies, religion, etc., but in moderation rather than to the extreme.
example 1: look at those fanadequates wearing our team’s sportsball shirts? why aren’t they naked and painted yellow like the true fans!?
example 2: these political/religious fanatequates sure are voicing their views in a conversational tone!
