the process in which a older individual will ‘fan girl’ over a random object/sport and like any fan girl, will get really into it so much it becomes obsessive.
example:old people and lawn bowls they will get really into it and get aggressive if you badmouth the sport.

guy 1:he apparently is starting to go through fangirlilisation over bowels.
guy 2: really how far along is he?
guy 1: hes starting to make really bad bowls jokes or mention it every two sentences.
