someone that pretends to be a reporter or journalist, but in actuality, posts rehashed news articles that others have created and/or investigated; usually with a bias twist added to incite anger and hatred.
john smith is a fauxnalist who’s posts about recent appointments to key positions in our government are designed to generate anger in the populace against democrats.
