Fempreg
in fanfiction, refers to a story where a woman gets pregnant by another woman. no man was involved in the context of the story.
this fictional situation is ever-so-slightly -more- possible than the equivalent mpreg, as a woman can at least -get- pregnant (albeit not by another woman…yet). oddly turns up in fiction less often than mpreg however, mostly because as we all know, the vast majority of fanfiction is written by teenage girls and menopausal women.
if a fanfic is listed as fempreg, then expect a woman to get pregnant by another woman. also expect little to no explanation as to how this is supposedly possible.
