1. the ironic act of a woman interrupting a man because she is not listening to, or interested in, what he is saying despite claims of being silenced because of her gender.
2. a tongue-in-cheek word coined to highlight the absurdity of feminist attempts to make the universal act of interrupting a gendered issue (see manterrupting).
