an elusive and beautiful race car that helped fortify ferrari’s dominance in events like le mans. slightly faster than the gto at 188 mph. only 32 were built between 1963 and 1966, and carried a price tag of around $18,000 new, which was more or less the same price of a decent home at the time. the values exploded over the years, and are currently at about $7mil us, about 1/3 that of the gto:

the ferrari 250 lm was a very successful race car, hence their astronomical value.
