a person who repeatedly strikes hard surfaces with closed fists in order to achieve a level of physical pain that will ‘alleviate’ their emotional pain. much like a ‘cutter’ will cut themselves to achieve the same effect.
when his friends found out he hurt himself intentionally by hitting things, one of them referred to him as a ‘fisticutter.’
