for example a sales man giving you the choice of buying a red car or the blue car. it doesn’t matter which car you buy because either way you are buying the car.
also creating two different sides that will achieve the same end result of dividing people up which relates to the divide and conquer military strategy.
marketing focuses on convincing people to buy a product when sales focuses on the best way to sell the product, and so they are essentially work towards the same ends. they are the flip side of the same coin.
