Football Blah Blah
a phrase coined by al murray (the pub landlord) describing when two people (usually men) engage in idle and predictable chat about football.
dave: “did you see that tackle in the united game at the weekend?”
trevor: “yeah what a shocker, can’t believe he didn’t get sent off.”
dave: “unbelievable decision by the ref…”
pam: “quit your football blah blah.”
-trevor and dave continue their pints in silence-
