footworkin’ – a little-known, chicago-born street dance in which feet frenetically stomp and kick a stutter-step pattern that resembles a hip-hop version of riverdance. equal parts tap, break and african tribal dance, footworkin’ is the chicago answer to “krumping,” the frenzied street dance born in los angeles.
