in software engineering, take a mature (e.g. well tested and doc-mented) framework and encapsulate it in an inferior (e.g. less interface points, no doc-mentation, no tests etc.) framework which attempts to simplify it’s use. this bespoke framework is termed a frameworse.
oh no, the core development team have created a frameworse. why can’t we just use the original framework?
