freestyler is a general term for people who are obviously attached to subcultural norms. examples: goths, punks, emos, mods, body modders, hipsters, hippies, heads, scenesters, or anything riding a skateboard. usually these people look like all thier clothes came out of hot topic or a thrift store.
primary usage is when you can’t determine the type of weirdo you are looking at. you don’t know if you are looking at a punk or an emo, so you just call them a freestyler.
