friend hiatus
when a friend commits an act that you don’t approve of, you can put said friend on “friend hiatus” to show your disapproval.
friend hiatus usually only lasts between a few minutes to an hour but special circ-mstances may call for an extended friend hiatus.
sally- hey john, sorry i couldn’t hang out yesterday, but i’m free now.
john- yeah whatever, you’re on friend hiatus till tomorrow.
