Frownstorm
an expression of extreme displeasure at a thing or happenstance that is unpleasant but otherwise unavoidable. kind of like a brainstorm, but with all thoughts inwardly directed at the dislike of the situation. it may manifest itself in a broody att-tude, fits of frowning, or other outwards signs of moodiness.
the unpleasant prospect of having to be visited by my relatives sent me into a frownstorm.
