funny in theory
somethings are only funny in theory. typically, the idea of something is funny but demonstrating it would ruin the humor. it is humor that cannot be seen, because doing so would be paradoxical to the joke, like the idea of a pizzadox.
it is funny in theory to think about singing “folsom prison blues,” in high soprano. but if you demonstrate it, someone will shoot you, just to watch you die. it’s not a threat, it’s a fact.
