Gatornaught
a term combining the mascot of lakeland high school in central florida (the dreadnaughts) with the mascot of the university of florida (gators). the term was coined because, due to the strength of the lhs football team, uf recruits a great deal of lakeland players. these lakeland recruits who go on to play for the gators are then called gatornaughts.
the pouncey twins, chris rainey, and ahmad black are all gatornaughts.
