a way of saying it’s alright to be gay.
a. i don’t like to broadcast the fact that i’m gay you know not everybody is that openminded you know.
b. oh come on gay has come a long way. haven’t you heard vogue says: “gay is the new fabulous!”

a nautical term for looking after everything else on the boat whilst the other “watch” are sailing it. includes: cooking, cleaning the deck(s), cleaning the bilge(s), cleaning the head(s) otherwise known as the toilets, general boat maintenance and sleep. steve: “is johno sailing the boat today?” bernie: “no, he’s on mother watch duties”
