in a city which has common-law marriage; two males or females are living as roommates for several years. one of the roommates
p-sses away without creating a last will and testament. instead of the deceased’s material possessions going to the next closest family member, the
other roommate claims they were lovers and those items were purchased together thereby lying about his/her s-xual orientation in order to claim
those items for himself/herself.
