Get off the song

a term used to tell someone to stop interupting a good song you are listening to with pointless jabbering.
radio: she walked up to me and she asked me to dance
i asked her her name and in a dark brown voice
she said lola, l-o-l-a, lol—

person 1: hey, in the sixth sense dont you think that bruce willis would have realized that he was dead sooner?

person 2: (turns up volume)

radio: lola, l-o–

person 1: (louder) because i mean he had been dead for like eight months or something in the movie, dont you think he would realize that n-body except an eight year old child has even acknowledged him in the past few months? and another thing—-

person 2: hey, hey! will you get off the song for a minute? i’m pretty sure this conversation can wait.
