Ghetto Sunrise
an alcoholic drink made by drinking half of a 40oz bottle of malt liquor (typically old english 800) then topping off the bottle with sunny delight. (some use orange juice, but sunny d or orange drank keep truer to the “ghetto” origins of the drink)
1. when i woke up, i found half a left over 40 from last night, so i topped that off with some sunny d and started the day with a ghetto sunrise.
2. person 1: “yo what you doin to that 40”
person 2: “chill, i’m maikin myself a ghetto sunrise.”
