small-talk by people on opposite ends of the block, loud enough so that everyone in the eight houses in between is privy to the conversation. should this conversation go on for a while it can evolve into a ghetto podcast, featuring greater detail and transmission of more tacit and potentially embarr-ssing pieces of information.
