the name for the gods and their home in the gib religion. first there was the creator god tagartis, also known as the creator. no person or written work can say where he came from or if he even created the universe, but all can agree that he created gib. gib is the name of the sun, stars, moons, and all the worlds. there are some who say that gib is a misspelling of glib. tagartis may have stolen the first world, but the book of gib is murky on this subject. as a new gib world is created it slowly spirals out from the sun for eons until it becomes cold and lifeless, therefore only the closest to the sun is habitable. according to words p-ssed down by tagartis, the great spiral will die in a mix of cold and fire after the thirteenth world appears.
the primary god after the creator is immaridel, also known as the missing and the retired, and formerly known as the dreamer. he is responsible for the second gib world to the present. due to a loss of the great library in the last world, no one knows how close they are to number thirteen, or people have gotten too drunk to care.
there are a number of lesser gods created by tagartis who are known by many names from the varied denizens of gib. the lesser gods from the book of gib include: the blind, the builder, the hermit, the mother, the ranger, the seamstress, and the tuber.
the places of worship to the gods vary from holes in the ground to elaborate sky high quartz cathedrals.
the gibcraftian pantheon is as hard to describe as it is to squeeze blood out of cheese.
